Spring & Washer for KSM5.5/KSM60/KSM70

This spring and washer set is an addition to the KSM 5.5, KSM 60 and KSM 70 style of the KitchenAid mixer that does not come with a spring and washer on the agitator shaft. This will help keep your attachments firmly placed onto the shaft to help prevent damage and wear!

There have been changes to the internals of these new style mixers. The agitator/beater shaft is no longer held in place by a snap ring. The gear is now pressed into place and is not removable to add the spring and washer in the traditional manner. This spring and washer set couldn’t be easier to install! The washer comes with a slit in it, so you can simply thread the spring over the pin on the agitator shaft and then thread the washer over as well. Just like that, your mixer is protected for years to come!
