Pricing by model
Powder coating requires the complete disassembly of the mixer. This means that once it's coated it will be reassembled with all new components resulting in a brand new customized mixer.
Below is a general pricing for custom powder coated mixers. Depending on the how extravagant you would like your mixer, prices could increase (two tones, color shifts etc..) Price difference between models are based on cost of parts utilized in the rebuild process.
Tilt-Head Models
This includes any tilt head model not considered vintage (post 1978) excluding 3 QT mini
K5SS
This includes all variations of the K5SS including but not limited to the KSM50, KSMC50 and KPM5
Bowl Lift models
This includes all AC powered bowl raise models including but not linmited to the Professional 600, Pro 5 Plus, Pro HD, Pro 550HD, KSM55/60/70
1.3 HP DC Models
This includes the 7 Qt proline, 8 Qt Commercial, Pro 6000 HD and any other variation of the DC powered models.
Vintage Models
(Pre 1979)
This includes the K5A bowl raise, K45 tilt head and K4B tilt head. All other vintage units are not eligible for powdercoating service due to parts availability. Vintage mixers will be rebuilt with new style components.
