This metal upgrade to the arm lift assembly is a good way to really bullet proof your mixer! The original plastic arm lift has a tendency to strip/break causing the bowl raise mechanism to no longer work. Replacing it with metal will prevent it from ever happening again! The original plastic replacements can be found under a different listing!
